MOUNTAIN CYCLING
Join us for a 4 hour down hill cycling experience through the rural
backroads and magical artistic communities of central Bali. We begin
by whisking you away from your accommodation to the beauty of Kintamani,
nestled high on one of Bali's many crater rims, where you will enjoy
a full breakfast to the stunning views of Lake Batur and its smoking
volcanic neighbour.
Once underway, our friendly guides lead at a leisurely face through
the varied landscaps of Bali, which change dramatically with altitude.
The village life sets the rhythm as the surprises unfold, giving a glimpse
of what Bali is all about. Literally put your feet up and watch as the
panorama goes by perhaps you will chance upon a special ceremony or
stop at a village warung for snacks with the local children, look at
a family compound, or witness wood carvers at work on a 6 month project.
This is the magic of Bali in its varying masks.
On arrival at Ubud, the cultural center on Bali, a sumptuous Indonesian
lunch awaits, followed by an hour at your leisure to sample the various
galleries, handicrafts & antiques on offer. A perfect opportunity
to haggle over that once in a lifetime handmade Batik or painting.
