Bars and Restaurants:
* Waroeng Tugu: The concept of Waroeng Tugu is a 'lifestyle experience'
of Javanese and Balinese people in the past,(simple traditional hut
for lunch and dinner). The menu will offer you to discover the simplicity
of Javanese home cooking, by our Chef Ibu Soelastri… She will not
tell you more…
* Bale Sutra: "A 300 years old Kang Xi Chinese temple". The Bale Sutra
dated back to 1706 when it was still used by a Peranakan family (Indonesian
- Chinese cross-marriage) to honor their ancestor and people with
great contribution to their society.
* Bale Puputan: Bale Puputan is a commemoration of all Balinese heroes
who sacrificed their lives during the "Battle to the Last Man" i.e.
Puputan of Badung 1906 and in Klungkung 1908.
* Bale Agung: "Megibung: a traditional Balinese experience". Megibung
is an exotic event of ancient Balinese dining, usually made for family
gatherings when they hold a ceremony. Chair-less sitting arrangements
are done from the north-end of the table. Each member should wear
traditional Balinese clothing such as sarong for men and kebaya for
women.
The menu presented according to tradition is the Balinese set menu
Nasi Tumpeng. The highest tumpeng will be presented to the oldest
person and the shortest tumpeng will be presented to the youngest.
A suckling pig (the most popular dish in Balinese dining) is available
on request.
* Romantic Dinners: "Unique settings for memorable tête-à-tête". Celebrate
your love where timeless romance and exotic luxuries blend. The perfect
nestle for a love story. Our Chef has created a delightful dinner
to be enjoyed in tête-à-tête wherever your heart feels - in the garden,
by the pool, over a lotus pond, or on the beach…
* East Meets West Delight: "Fusion and effusion of flavors". If you
are wondering what a fusion between western food and Indonesian spices
could be, the unlimited creativity of our Chef Jamil could lead you
close to the answer. This fine dining experience is a perfect introduction
to the blends of "Asian meets West" cooking techniques. An effusion
of flavors for all palates…
* Sunset High Tea: "An enchantment of local delicacies". The Sunset
High Tea at Tugu Bali is set up in the lobby Verandah, every day around
5pm, overlooking the pool and sea… just waiting for the sunset and
the amazing colors it offers on Canggu Beach.
Inspired by traditional markets in Indonesia "Jajan Pasar", the concept
is to offer a selection of local delicacies, boiled "forgotten fruits"
(like peanuts, cassava…), assorted with local drinks (Kolak, Gula
Asam, Es Daluman…). A large selection of teas and coffees is also
proposed.
Spa Facilities:
In Tugu Bali, spa is extremely inter-related with the secret of the
East. For centuries, local Javanese, Peranakan, Balinese people have
been following their own concept of spa treatment. They combine spiritual
treatment with physical treatment to achieve ultimate relaxation of
the mind and body.
