KEHEN TEMPLE

Kehen Temple
The name “ kehen” is derived from “keren” or “kuren”, meaning “family”. This beautiful temple itself was built during later years, but there are several ancient implements and relics housed there. One of them is a prasasti, bronze plate inscribed in the old Balinese language, which records the road guide to this place. It is believed that it was written in 1204 AD. The name of that place is found in that prasasti too.
