of Pemuteran in the northwest corner of the island of Bali.
Puri Ganesha Villas is 400 meters of beachfront
in the fishing village of Pemuteran, near the National Park on the
north West Coast of Bali. 50 km from Singaraja and 130 km from Denpasar
and the airport. The transfer between the estate and the International
airport takes about three hours drive and passes over the central
mountain range.
Minimum 7 nights stay required for Dec. 30 to
Jan. 03.

Dining
There is also an outside dining area and an antique rice barn
for lounging on the beach. Guests may dine either in the main
restaurant, at their villa or by their private pool. The cuisine
features tasty organic vegetables, salads, delicious chicken and
fish dishes for lunch and an exciting dinner menu that changes
daily, combining authentic Balinese food and international favorites.
They use no additives. Take the opportunity to do a detoxification
diet of 1-5 days duration or a cookery class to learn how to prepare
authentic Balinese food. As they do not allow any kind of plastic
packaging into their grounds, all the drinking water is collected
from a famous local spring in the village of Sanggalangit, known
as the "Evian of Bali" This water is not only free of charge for
the guests, but is absolutely delicious and perfectly safe.

Activities
Just relax in the sun by swimming, reading and having wonderful
massages, but there is also a wide range of activities such as
snorkeling & diving at the magnificent Menjangan Island, learning
to dive or do advanced scuba courses at the nearby PADI-rated
dive school.
Other activities include visiting important temples in the area
or attend one of the many religious ceremonies. Try taking a cruise
to see the dolphins or at sunset to see the Javanese Volcanoes.
The more adventurous (or restless) may like to go horseback riding
along the beach. The "Reef Seen" stables have horses for every
rider. An experienced teacher leads morning and evening rides
along the beach and through the village, trekking through the
National Park, take a day trip to Java, try the 4-night discovery
adventure tour (and stay at the house of famous Balinese resident-artist
Walter Spies), or learn about the local culture on our own culinary
"Spice Tour".

All the staff love children and are wonderful baby-sitters, enabling
parents with small children to relax and have some time for themselves
at last.
