All of Rumah Bali's rooms are designed to accommodate
a family. Should sometimes the parents wish to
have a night out, a private butler will take care of the kids
and fulfill even the unexpressed wishes and needs. Not only are
all rooms spacious and tastefully furnished with the finest materials,
but the bathrooms are very special with rain showerheads and walk-in
wardrobes. There is even space for a nap in the oversized bathtubs.
Rumah Bali is now offering you the chance to purchase or rent
some prize real estate in the heart of Tanjung Benoa. They offer
the choices of seven custom designs for two and three bedroom
villas. Twenty four-year land leases will offer you plenty of
time for a healthy return. Should you're time in Bali be restricted
to holidays, let them take over the villas and ensure that suitable
tenants are found.
Rumah Bali is on the east of arid Bukit Peninsula
at the southern extremity of Bali. Rumah Bali is only meters away
from one of Bali's best swimming and surf beaches, protected by
a coral reef from the splendid wild Indian Ocean.
Across the street you will find some of Bali's best dining spots,
four and five star hotel and a clinic with international trained
doctors offering around the clock service. Ten minutes drive will
bring you to the Nusa Dua resort area, famous for it's manicured
gardens, shopping gallery and one of Asia's best 18-hole golf
courses. Moreover, it is only 20 minutes from Bali's International
Airport and 30 minutes from the Capital, Denpasar.

For your information, "ngajeng!" or "makan" (meaning eat) are
expressions one often hears when passing by people in Bali as
they are eating. This is, in fact, not an invitation to join the
meal but rather an apology for eating when passerby is not. This
is a reflection of a strong sense of community found in most parts
of Indonesia and of the great cultural importance attached to
food and eating.
The family or community involved prepares special ritual food
for every ceremony. Villagers take great pride of serving Rumah
Bali's meal course - perhaps the best "Rijsttafel" in Bali. After
all the team was awarded by the government of Bali in 1999 for
having the Best Restaurant in Bali, and by the Asian Travel magazine
in 2000 for having the Best Restaurant in Indonesia. Serving food
is another special ritual in its own, as up to 30 of the prettiest
young beauties dressed in exquisite ceremonial costumes will serve
you in a way as only kings where served in the past.
For your dining pleasures, try the hotel's gala dinner where "buffet"
is perhaps the wrong name, as the food will be freshly prepared
to order from a large variety of stalls and food stations similar
as you would find it around market places in Bali. This also explains
the different approach the way the menu is written.
Meeting & Conventions
Rumah Bali also provides company meeting for up to 250 participants,
Balinese cooking class, art exhibitions, cultural performances,
Balinese theme parties, private dinners, bazaars, sport demonstrations.
Please note that the "wantilan" has an individual stage that can
cater smaller events for private parties. Floating stage is located
in the center of the village. To support this, Rumah Bali also
provides audio system with wireless microphone, back up generator,
OHP, slide projector, VCR, digital cameras, audio video screen,
a management office with reception area and private chauffeur
service.
The Balinese love to create new genies by melding together different
forms of traditions from the past and present. In a similar way
we melted ancient traditions with modern technology. Should the
reason for your celebration be an awards dinner or just a night
out to discover the mystic of Bali, Rumah Bali will have the latest
audio equipment available. Should the power fail in Rumah Bali's
"banjar", the backup system will ensure that every minute of your
village celebration will be orchestrated to perfection.
Activity & Services
There are a very large number of active music and dance troops
performing nightly. Welcomed by the "banjar rindik" group, guests
will enjoy their cocktail in a beautiful setting with modest entertainment.
Other facilities include a 15m swimming pool, entertainment area,
golf practice range, tennis court, cable TV, IDD Phone, village
cultural evenings, a jogging track, entertainment pavilions, tropical
botanical gardens and badminton court. The village center with
a "warung" is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
