The Mansion

The Mansion located on a small road linking the Sayan ridge to Penestanan and Campuan, The Mansion enjoys a quiet location overlooking a lush side valley while only 3km from central Ubud.

Originally built as luxury residence on a large estate, the Mansion is all privacy behind wrought iron gates and manicured Balinese gardens and pools. Named in Balinese "Puri Semara Mas" or "Palace of Golden Serenity", The Mansion offers discerning guests a great location from which to enjoy Ubud while maintaining seclusion and a world class quality service.

The Mansion is particularly suited for corporate and individual guests who do not want to stay in large resort and prefer a highly personalized and private stay.

Facilities

Butlers and hosts. Service at The Mansion is handled by a team of fully trained Balinese hosts and butlers. Their function is to accommodate guests requests and to provide everything necessary for a most comfortable stay.

Security. The Mansion provides the highest level of security. From gates with 24 hour security guards controlling access to the estate to constant security patrols with trained officers and security peripheral cameras with motion detector lights. The Mansion can also handle more rigorous security assignments on request.

Safety. All rooms are equipped with smoke detectors and all staff is trained in the usage of fire extinguishers and safety and measures to protect guests and property.

Telephone. IDD telephone available in all rooms. Private screening of outside calls available on request.

Meetings, Incentives and Parties. The formality and gratefulness of The Mansion will give a sophisticated and elegant touch to any meeting or incentive, wether al fresco in the gardens or inside The Mansion itself.

The Mansion offers the following space for meetings and functions:

• Boardroom: 42 sqm ideal for meetings up to 18 persons
• Ballroom: 225 sqm perfect for 80 to 100 persons
• Gardens: for up to 200 persons garden party
• Grand Lobby with double staircase: for weddings, receptions of up to 150 persons
• Formal Reception room and Dining room: ideal for cocktail parties (80 persons) and small dinners (10 to 12)

Beyond meeting and function venues, The Mansion is the ideal location in Ubud for business meetings, corporate functions, select product launches and small weddings.

Art display and purchase. The Mansion's high ceilings and natural light make it the ideal location to review and select works of art in excellent lighting conditions. Guests of The Mansion can have their selected artwork briefly as it would be in their own home or gallery.

Spa.
A spa is located on property and directly accessible by guests with preffered appointment times.

Shopping.
Our concierge can recommend several areas where to shop in Bali. Many areas specialize in artifacts and should not be missed. In addition, major shopping centers are located in Denpasar, Kuta and Nusa Dua.

Doctors.
Doctors and nurses are on call.

Etiquette.
While the estate is private, one should remember that Balinese society is conservative and would frown on excessive behaviours or improper dress.

Food and Beverage.
A selection of international and local favorites is available at The Mansion. Foods can be served in the Wantilan, private suites or anywhere on property. The staff will attempt to do any reasonable request with a little advance notice.

Sports and Activities.
The Mansion's library specializes on books on Indonesian art and culture and maintains a selection of CD's, VCD's, board games and playing cards. Several swimming pools and a putting green are available for guest use.
