Of June 2003 , designed and constructed by the well-known company
DG Jones, the builders of the Four Seasons Hotel in Bali and Le Meridien
Resort and of other villas which are of the highest standard on the
island.
Villa Surya Damai is strategically situated on the
edge of the village of Umalas- Kerobokan, 15 minutes walk across the
rice paddies to Kerobokan beach . where some of Bali's most well-known
beachside restaurants can be found, and less than 10 minutes drive
to the fashionable Seminyak with its highest-quality delicatessen
shops and bakeries in Bali.
 
The property is designed with traditional Balinese-style with luxury
amenities. open-sided living room that leads to the pool deck and 20
m pool.
There is a master suite consisting of bedroom, bathroom and living room
(air-conditioned) and two verandahs, a principal guest suite, and three
further bedrooms all with private, outdoor-garden bathrooms.
All rooms are with the highest quality furnishings, curtains and extremely
comfortable King Koil mattresses. The rooms all benefit from views across
the compound.
There is also an upper-floor verandah-style living room overlooking
the whole property and featuring panoramic views of the river and rice-fields.
A separate formal dining room overlooking the pool and rice paddies
comfortably accommodates a maximum 12 persons. The gardens are extensive
and spacious serenity and views that complement the atmosphere of this
traditionally-styled and private compound.
There are 3 TV/DVD/sound systems together with satellite TV connections
to 40 stations as well as extension speakers in the dining room. The
systems are located in the master suite's sitting room, the main living
room and the upper verandah, and are all of the highest and most up-to-date
standards being the latest Bose speaker Lifestyle models .
