Sheraton Mustika Hotel

Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Resort and Spa is home to Central Java's largest ballroom, the Mataram Ballroom. With space for up to 1800 people in a theatre-style layout this extraordinary ball room has been the venue for much more than just balls.

In 1997, American guitarist Stanley Jourdan performed at the Mataram Ballroom to an audience of around 1000 people. Indonesian artist have also used the room for concerts including Krisdayanti, Anang, and Yuni Shara with audiences of 1600 people; and other events such as the International Symposium for Doctors and Nurses have utilised the Mataram's superlative facilities. With extensive pre-conference facilities the 1160 sqm Grand Mataram Ballroom boasts high facilities and no obtrusive pillars. The ball room can also be divided into seven areas, has a separate kitchen and has modern A/V and lighting facilities.
